Cookie Policy

Essential-only today, with a clear promise to ask before any non-essential tracking is added.

Current approach

Coached Climbing currently uses essential-only cookies for authentication and secure session handling. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

Essential cookies

Session cookies: keep you signed in and link requests to your authenticated account session.
Security cookies: support CSRF protection and sign-in flow integrity.

Browser storage

We also store one browser localStorage key, planGenerationJob:<planId>, so in-progress plan generation can resume cleanly after a page reload.

Consent

Because we currently use only strictly necessary cookies, a cookie consent banner is not shown at this stage.

If we add non-essential cookies later, such as analytics, we will implement explicit opt-in consent before those cookies are set.
